ABOUT THE ROLE
What we’re looking for…
Our number one priority in the Marketing department is to build brilliant brands that consumers love to drink. As our UNLOCKED Intern, you will gain experience in supporting to develop and execute best in class brand strategies that increase brand awareness, strengthen brand equity, and drive business growth. You will help build and protect our exciting brands and grow market share within the category segment and Barr Soft Drinks portfolio. Our ideal candidate will also gain an understanding of consumer behaviour, learn project management skills, gain broad experience across the comms mix, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
You’ll gain practical experience in:
Supporting development and implementation of brand strategies that align with Barr Soft Drinks vision and goals
Generating a deep understanding of the consumer of the brands to bring actionable insights and be the champion of the brand and consumer in the business
Supporting the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social, traditional media and retail
Collaborating with the Commercial, Innovation, R&D & Shopper teams to ensure brand consistency across all touch points and to maximise impact / ROI
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of brand activities
Working with award winning external agencies and suppliers to ensure best in class deliverables and timely execution of brand initiatives
Staying abreast of industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
Supporting management of multiple brands and projects at once
A company onboarding session will take place at the start of the internship, we will provide you with all tech equipment and you’ll be briefed on the brands and all tasks and managed by a senior team member.
DAY IN THE LIFE AT AG BARR
As an AG BARR Marketing intern your responsibilities will include:
🔍 Support the development of insight driven TTL campaigns that drive brand equity and market share.
📰 Work with our PR agency to support development of award winning PR campaigns.
📡 Work with our social agency to immerse yourself in social media trends and the world of influencers to ensure the brand is part of consumer conversation.
🎉 Work with our sponsorship partners to deliver memorable activity that appeals to our target demographic.
📊 Evaluating the impact of our campaigns through research and data analysis.
